Dear Families,
Tomorrow, November 26, Andes Central School will conduct a rapid evacuation drill, as required by the state of New York. The purpose of this drill is to practice our emergency procedures for situations where it may be necessary to leave the building quickly and efficiently to ensure the safety of all students and staff.
As part of this drill, dismissal will occur at 2:55 PM instead of our usual 3:02 PM. Parents of bus riders should be prepared for their students to arrive at their bus stop 5 to 10 minutes earlier than normal. If you plan to pick up your child, please adjust your schedule to accommodate the earlier dismissal time.
Please note that our CROP afterschool program and afterschool activities will run as normal, with no changes to its schedule.
