Dear Parent(s) and Guardian(s):
Should the district need to close due to snow or other related weather emergencies, we will be utilizing the “remote” learning modality allowed by the State this year. Your child will follow their regular daily schedule in grades K-12. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact my office.
As you may be aware, we have used 1-one of our 7-seven snow days this school year as of this writing. The most recent closing was Friday, February 4, 2022. While we still have 6-six unused snow days, I will be writing in the coming weeks indicating which days we would be closed to stay within the 180-day school calendar.
Below is a tentative calendar with adjustments to return the 6-six unused snow days for the Spring:
Calendar Adjustments for April:
?School will be closed on Friday, March 25th if we have 6 or more snow days remaining as of Friday, March 4th.
?School will be closed on Friday, April 8th if we have 5 or more snow days remaining as of Friday, March 25th.
?School will be closed on Monday, April 18th if we have 4 or more snow days remaining as of Friday, March 25th.
Calendar Adjustments for May:
?School will be closed on Tuesday, May 31st if we have 1 or more snow days remaining as of Friday, May 20th.
?School will be closed on Friday, May 27th if we have 3 or more snow days remaining as of Friday, May 21st.
?School will be closed on Thursday, May 26 if we have 2 or more snow days remaining as of Friday, May 13th.
?School is closed on Monday, May 30th for Memorial Day (as previously planned).
Calendar Adjustments for June:
?School will be closed on Monday, June 20th to celebrate Juneteenth.
?No calendar adjustments
