Dear Andes CSD families:

As we approach the finish line to the 2021-22 school year, I wanted to make you aware of a staffing change that recently occurred in the building.

On May 24, the district’s guidance counselor, Brittany Golden, resigned effective immediately. The district took swift action and appointed an interim counselor, Ms. Maureen Burton, to serve as our counselor for the remainder of the school year. We also have an active advertisement for the open position, with the intention of finding a permanent replacement in a timely manner.

Ms. Burton has been in school since July 2020 and is an experienced and certified school counselor who has worked at Roxbury CSD for 7 years.
